The above photo is of the marquis from another Sheraton. I’m billed “The Right Clefs” wherever I found engagements where they previously had bands. Having to pay just one musician obviously saves on establishment’s budgets,instead of having to pay the price of a whole band. Since I couldn’t go home, I decided to drive from the East coast, with my Yamaha Electric Grand piano, and all of my equipment in my van, all the way west to CA, and I was able to book another gig on my own, playing solo, (on a month to month contract) on San Diego’s Harbor Island, where I survived the competition.
